Meet Michael Argenal

The son of an Air Force servicemember, Michael grew up moving frequently and has called a little bit of everywhere home. That upbringing gave him something most attorneys can't learn in a classroom — adaptability, resilience, and a genuine investment in the people he serves.

Michael earned his Bachelor of Arts in Government with a Minor in Communication Studies from The University of Texas at Austin. He went on to earn both a Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) and a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) from St. Mary's University, graduating as a Distinguished Graduate of the MPA program at just 24 years old and subsequently passing the Texas Bar Exam at the same age. 

During law school, Michael served as a Moody Fellow, where he assisted in representing veterans navigating the VA claims process — work that immersed him in complex medical records, disability ratings, and the intersection of medicine and law. That experience gave him a strong foundation in medical analysis and advocacy that directly informs his work today. Michael also served as a civilian law clerk for the United States Air Force’s Judge Advocate General’s Corps (JAG) where he assisted military and civilian lawyers in both criminal and civil matters. Further, Michael also clerked for the Honorable Dan A. Naranjo, supporting multi-million-dollar arbitration proceedings and complex civil litigation.

After law school, Michael served as a Staff Attorney with San Antonio Legal Services Association (SALSA), where he briefly held his own family law clinic working to serve the unique needs of military servicemembers and their families. After that, Michael spent time at the Daspit Law Firm, where he honed his skills working on a wide array of personal injury matters. 

At Miller Law Firm, Michael focuses his practice on medical malpractice and personal injury. He represents clients in cases involving surgical errors, misdiagnosis, negligent care, auto accidents, and serious injury claims — guiding each client from intake through resolution with careful attention to the medical and legal complexities their case demands. Michael works closely with medical experts and his team to build thorough, evidence-driven strategies on behalf of those who have been harmed by the negligence of others.
